Kitchen Gadgets to Make Your Life Easier

Kitchen Gadgets to Make Your Life Easier

Kitchen gadgets can be a lifesaver, making cooking quicker, easier, and safer. In this blog post, we will discuss some kitchen gadgets and utensils that can help you cook inflammation-free foods quickly and safely.

1. Non-stick cookware:

Non-stick cookware has been a staple in most kitchens, but it can be a source of inflammation. Some non-stick cookware is made with a chemical named Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA), which is associated with health problems like liver tumors, breast cancer, reduced fertility, and thyroid and kidney disorder. To avoid such health risks, invest in good quality non-stick cookware. There are several healthy non-stick brands of cookware out there, such as Caraway and the Always Pan, which replace your fry pan, saute pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, nonstick pan, spatula, and spoon rest.

2. Blenders:

A good blender can make cooking a lot easier. One of the best blenders in the market is Vitamix, which can blend everything from smoothies and frozen desserts to nut, butter and hot soup. Vitamix can be a bit expensive, but it's worth every penny in the long run. They now have a food processor attachment which is an added bonus. A food processor is designed to perform various food preparation tasks such as chopping, shredding, and mixing dough. On the other hand, blenders are designed to pulverize and combine wet and dry ingredients. A food processor can quickly handle a multitude of tasks that would take you much longer to complete manually.

3. Instant Pot:

Instant Pot is a kitchen gadget that has changed the way we cook. It's a pressure cooker that can cook in the blink of an eye with the same results as a slow cooker. The Instant Pot is one of the most useful kitchen appliances you can buy because it drastically cuts down on the cooking time for developing flavors in soups and stews, getting tough cuts of meat tender, and even baking a cheesecake. You can use them to bake bread, cakes and other sweets like custards, flan, and cheesecakes. Many Instant Pot models come with special yogurt modes. And yes, they function as slow cookers, too. You can cook elaborate meals in less than an hour.

4. Utensils:

When it comes to selecting the best utensils for your health, it's important to choose non-toxic options that are free from harmful chemicals. Avoid utensils made with Teflon, nickel, and plastic, as these materials can leach toxins into your food. A good option to use is wooden utensils as a healthier and more sustainable option.

One of the main benefits of wooden utensils is that they are much gentler on your pots and pans. Unlike metal utensils, wood does not scratch the surface of your cookware, which can cause damage and even lead to toxins from the metal getting into your food. Wooden utensils are also less likely to leave marks or stains on your cookware, which can be particularly important if you have non-stick or enamel-coated pots and pans.
